Introduction
The Trayvon Martin case is one that can be seen clearly in the development of current astrological conditions in the USA. I will break down this event with the internal progressions of the USA chart, plus give a timeline for its continued development, along with a description of how it fits into the overall tensions that have been coming to the surface since autumn of 2011.

I will post another article describing the validation of this chart in-depth. I include it now and use it as the basis of the analysis of the Trayvon Martin shooting at the hands of George Zimmerman because this event both validates the USA chart and the USA chart in turn matches it quite well.

As you can see from these tables there is a double effect of Pluto upon natal Venus. Venus, as ruler of the 5th house of children (Trayvon Martin, a minor) is opposed by Pluto in transit. Pluto is ruler of the 11th house opposite the 5th, making it also a house of enemies or predators of children. Pluto’s exact contra-parallel aspect to natal Venus transfers Pluto’s effect from its previous CP to natal Mars, which was the period of the 9/11 and the initiation of wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Now power struggles are no longer being externalized outside the USA proper as happens in cathartic Pluto-Mars transits and progressions. With Pluto’s focus on Venus now, the pressure is being applied to government (Libra ruled MC, Venus principle of justice), and to all 5th house matters (Taurus, principle of pleasure), as well as to those adverse factors (Uranus in 6th) in police work that need better supervision and accountability.
The whole case forces serious pressures for judicial and police reform, particularly in the protection of children.
Looking at the chart for the event of the attack upon Trayvon, we can see some clear indicators and some timing factors. The event chart is shown with transits for the date that the grand jury is scheduled to review the evidence.
The actor in this event is the aggressor, George Zimmerman, seen in the Ascendant in Virgo with ruler Mercury displaced into Pisces, the sign of its detriment opposite the Asc. Mercury in Pisces is known for unclear, even illogical thinking, delusions and deceptions. Zimmerman was not being, maybe could not be entirely truthful about the incident.
Trayvon is seen opposite, the Descendant in Pisces, ruled by Neptune in the 6th house of physical debility and bodily injuries. Neptune and Pisces, a martyr, hopefully for a greater cause that will be realized.
The grand jury will be meeting April 10 when the Sun comes conjunct Venus in the event chart, which is ruler of the 9th house of juries. They will meet in secret, as indicated by Venus in the 8th, and their deliberations will not be so quick. The 8th is a succedent house, which is slow-moving in terms of timing.
Because of the involvement of Uranus in all these events, it is very unpredictable what may come from the grand jury proceedings or from any other government action. Until I have a chart for the grand jury meeting I hesitate to say more, only that the indications in the USA chart point to a clear message by the American people for justice, but the proverbial shit hitting the fan be late spring.
